Types of Palm Trees

Palm trees are part of what is scientifically called “ monototyledonous ”, within the family called “ palmae ”. One of the great qualities that these types of plants have is that they usually embellish the landscape where they are found. That is why it is frequently used in the interior design industry.

Palm trees have the following parts that make them, like all plants in biodiversity, interesting . They have what is called a “ root system ”, which consists of a root that grows into the ground and has the central function of absorbing and carrying nutrients and water throughout the palm tree. It is important to note that these roots are divided into two: secondary root and adventitious .
