Types of Light

Light is defined as thatsource that originates thanks to the radiation that is generated in the sun, whichis distributed through a series of waves, which convey the properties of theradiationitself. This type of process is often called “electromagnetic” radiation and is not limited to the sun, there are other sources.
Light as a function is an important part of human life and the planet. The light source has allowed new forms of life to develop for many years, there is a development of photosynthesis in plants, the planet has an average temperature, it can count on a diversity of benefits that are an important part of the life of the planet.
Among the main characteristics that light has in general terms, is the fact that it can come in various shades, some of which are called ultraviolet and infrared. According to the participation of the waves, the light can have different frequencies and range depending on the length that is projected.
Types of light
Artificial light
In this particular case, the intervention of the human being for the generation of light is directly related. Human beings, faced with certain needs, have been forced to create artificial light such as electrical or combustion energy for their own benefit. In the end, this type of light has been a trigger for what is known as progress.
combustion light
This type of light is developed by the human being through a reaction process that produces fire, through the participation of various chemical components. From the point of view of human history, this type of artificial light was the first way light developed. We have in this case that history tells us that through the discovery of fire by man.
It has been used through the generation of fire in wood, which have some chemical agents such as carbon, oxygen and hydrogen; ideal for the combustion process. Later, thanks to paraffin, candles were invented that helped to better manage the transfer of fire from one place to another. Later, thanks to kerosene, fire lamps appear.
This type of artificial light helped man, particularly at night, to carry out a series of activities since the light that the moon could provide was not enough due to the reflection of sunlight on it. It has undoubtedly been a great contribution to humanity to be able to control the use of fire in this part of human history.
Electric light
It is a form of light generated by the intervention of the human being in which, through a series of devices, said light can be manipulated, for example, in lamps. For that, the generation of electricity was developed, which is the main source of energy. These are administered in electrical devices that help human beings to live comfortably.
From a historical point of view, the history of managing electric light by means of devices dates back to the creation of light bulbs; It was created by Joseph Wilson Swan and patented by the famous Thomas Alba Édison. The presence in humanity meant a great advance in human progress.
Natural light
In this case we find that this form of light is characterized by the fact that its generation is not directly related to the intervention of the human being, that is, it occurs naturally on the planet. This type of light is generated thanks to nature itself. The source of origin of this type of light is solar energy.
If compared to artificial light, it presents a series of colors that range in warm tones such as yellow or white. Generally, this type of light is associated with the color yellow. Although it must be taken into account that there are more shades that cannot be perceived with the naked eye. The important thing about this type of light is how the human being uses it.
Sunlight
It is conceived as the main source of energy that the planet has. Since the sun is the one that generates this light, its properties travel through millions of kilometers to reach planet earth directly with the optimal conditions to be beneficial to human beings and life on the planet. It is important to point out that the full capacity of light does not reach otherwise, the planet would not survive.
The light provided by the sun has a great positive impact on human life and nature. Man, plants and animals directly benefit. In the case of the human being, when it is daytime, the light allows one to develop their activities in a normal way. When it is night, it illuminates the moon, the natural satellite of the earth.
For encourage them the operation is similar. In the case of plants, sunlight greatly helps the development of the natural process of what is known as photosynthesis. This allows the necessary amount of oxygen to exist on planet earth for the survival of living beings. As you can see, sunlight is of vital importance for the earth.
Sunlight fulfills other functions. For example, it allows the earth to have optimal temperature levels. This is how a diversity of biosphere such as forests, jungles, deserts have been created throughout the territory; among others. This ecological diversity has allowed the evolution of the human species to have a balance.
When sunlight is exposed intensely, for example, on human skin; may cause some damage. In this particular case, it is common for some type of cancerous tumor to develop on the skin or, to a lesser degree, some type of burn. The ideal is to have control over sun exposure since it normally helps the human being in other things.
In addition, sunlight provides other benefits, for example, in homes, lately a series of solar panels are being used to obtain a type of energy called “alternative” that helps reduce the costs of electricity payments, in addition to which gradually decreases the harmful impact on the ecology of oil heating.
