When seeing the blood , the main characteristic that we find is that it is red in color, which is the result of a combination and chemical reaction of a vital liquid that is found in all living beings of animal origin and the being itself. human ; that is to say, this is given by a red pigment known as hemoglobin, which, within its chemical components, are the erythrocytes.

It can also be found in the blood, what is known as plasma, which physically represents the liquid part, where a high protein content is concentrated, vital for the efficient development of the cardiovascular and respiratory systems. There are also the so-called platelets, which can be physically observed through a microscope, in which a series of small cell walls are observed that are responsible for protecting the so-called blood vessels. This situation means that when a living being is injured it does not completely bleed out and immediately goes on to a healing process.
Type A blood
People who have this blood type are those who usually have a significant amount of red blood cells in their blood. These will generally show a series of elements called type A antigens, which will be responsible, among other things, for fighting type B antigens with antibodies. This process will be carried out in the area known as plasma.
Statistically it is known that this is one of the most important blood types, in fact it ranks second in order of frequency. According to some statistics, it represents at least 35% of the total population of blood types that exist. This is important in terms of health since, for example, people who have this type of group can donate to types A and AB.
Type AB blood
The peculiarity of this type of blood is that the person who possesses it can have one of the two types of blood marked as A or B; depending on the case or the characteristics of the blood in particular. This happens because the blood presents in its content in the blood, two types of antigens. However, it cannot be typified in one or another type of blood since it lacks an antibody in the plasma.

The main characteristic of this type of blood is that there are no markers that are both type A and B; that is, the so-called red blood cells in this case do not have the so-called antigens, only unlike AB blood types, here if antibodies are found in the plasma itself.
