Types of Stat

Statistics is known as a science that starts from the management of a series of numerical data in order to obtain a series of trends or results that reflect certain probabilities in the behavior of the object of study in question and the creation of a series of calculations that allow its verification.
The implementation of this science helps to be able to classify certain events that are part of the object of study, from which the necessary data are obtained to be able to define the characteristics and behavior of the study problem itself. In the end, through the analysis of the statistical data obtained, it is possible to confirm the hypothesis and reach conclusions in the study.
It is a form of technique that is implemented to define a data sample and with it prepare a study that will represent the entire phenomenon. This seeks an explanation of the events of the natural phenomenon. That is why it is widely applied in health sciences and social sciences.
What is sought at the end of the application of statistics is to study a previously defined population through a series of data collection techniques for its analysis and interpretation of its own behavior.
Stat Types
Mathematical statistics
It is a statistical format in which there is the formal work of the data through the theory that best suits the needs of the object of study. These theories have to do with the subject of probability and other areas of mathematics.
Characteristics of mathematical statistics
What is sought with this type of statistics is to obtain relevant information through the categorization of a series of numerical data or for this purpose it adheres to the theory of probability and statistics.
Inferential or inductive statesman
It works through the management of a series of data obtained in a predetermined sample, with the specific purpose of obtaining a series of predictions that allow substantiating the conclusions reached in the object of study.
Characteristics of inferential or inductive statistics
In its treatment, this type of statistics pursues the following objectives, which are:
• To reach valid conclusions in relation to the sample that was defined for the population under study.
• Present probable levels of uncertainty regarding a scenario with their respective explanation.
Descriptive or deductive statistics
It is a type of statistics that is used with the purpose of being able to analyze and describe a series of sets of numerical type, such numerical series seek to represent different levels of phenomena for the best management of their analysis. In this type of statistics it is not very feasible to reach definitive conclusions.
Characteristics of descriptive or deductive statistics
It is implemented when it is required to prepare a summary that includes all kinds of information that is required at the time. For this, the information will be assimilated into a series of numerical sets that allow statistical management.
Applied Statistics
In this case we find two types of statistics, one called descriptive or deductive and another known as differential or inductive.
In order to delimit the population that will be the object of study, a series of elements that are considered “estimators” are used. This type of study resources are used in areas of knowledge such as medicine, history, psychology and sociology.
Characteristics of applied statistics
This type of statistics seeks to explain the result obtained from a sample that explains the object of study known as the universe of the problem. Statistical studies of the mean, mode and median of a phenomenon of statistical variables are generally used.
