Cold chain

The cold chain consists of a supply chain in which the temperature is always monitored. Which means that it is a distribution chain where the quality and hygiene of the article is preserved in each link, from harvest, processing, storage, and circulation until it reaches the end user.

Food chain

The trophic chain is known as the transfer of matter and energy through the species that make up an ecosystem .

The so-called food chain is composed of types of living beings that make up an ecosystem and that the link between them is predation . In every trophic pyramid the first element or the base of the chain are the autotrophs (organisms that produce their food).

Living beings that have the ability to absorb solar energy are the first step of all trophic pyramids, no matter if they are photosynthesizing microorganisms, algae or plants. These beings have the ability to produce organic elements through the use of inorganic matter.

It is a series of elements that participate in the transfer of an agent from a source of infection to a suitable host, that is, the steps that a causal agent performs , from its natural environment, to the appropriate host.

Accessory chain (necklace)

It has the appearance of a chain, people place it in the neck area as an accessory. Sometimes the man also uses these ornaments as a decoration garment that included a medal, in this way it increased or gave a lot of distinction to the person who wore it.

In various communities and nations of antiquity, necklaces were made with two essential objects: pendants, and a strap.

Within the organization of a company, the chain of command consists of the ladder of an information relations institution, from the lower sector to the upper section of a company, which must answer to whom.

The chain of command not only determines accountability, it guides the guidelines of an institution of authority and domination, it establishes who makes the decisions.

Hotel chain

The hotel chain is an organization that manages a large number of hotels located in various areas. They can be full or partial owners of the hotel and direct its marketing , promotion and administration.

The objective is to achieve greater profit, more power, control and distinction in the international or local market.

Mountain chain

A mountain range or cordillera is a succession of mountains intertwined with each other. The term cordillera is the translation of the Catalan cordell, and this comes from the Latin cordellum, whose meaning is rope.

Mountain chains are formed by the accumulation of sediments in places near the continental shores, which results in them being exposed to the impulses of tectonic plates, wind, land, water, vegetation and the corrosion of volcanoes and of elevated spaces.

Life imprisonment

It consists of a form of conviction that is determined as a consequence of a serious crime. It refers to the dispossession of freedom for an indeterminate period, a time that can result in imprisonment for a lifetime.

This sentence, also known as life imprisonment in general, is used as a substitute for the death penalty as a more severe sentence.

In various cases, people with sentences of more than 20 years in prison are also included in this category, this is because it is valued as a very long time of confinement that produces dangerous psychological and physical results in prisoners. Because of these consequences, life imprisonment causes much controversy in various countries.
